Charles Le Bel is a trademark of Billecart-Salmon. La Maison is located in Mareuil-sur-Ay, in the heart of the Champagne region. It was founded back in 1818, when Nicolas Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon decided to create a Maison d'excellence. Subsequent generations have never lost sight of the goal to privilege and the quality of everything. Today the House is conducted with the same care and attention from François and Antoine Roland Billecart, who were able to consolidate the prestigious family tradition.
La Maison covers a total area 220 hectares, of which 100 of its own vineyards. Most of the vineyards are located in a radius of 20 km from Epernay and are situated in the best cru pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot meunier. The production cleverly combines the heritage of the great family tradition with the most modern winemaking technology to achieve high-quality Champagne.
Billecart-Salmon is a medium-sized champagne house in Mareuil-sur-Ay, France. Founded in 1818 with the marriage of Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon, it is one of the few to remain family owned.
